Work Introduction
This piece is based on some observation notes and ramblings about the waters of the island of Boipeda in Bahia, Brazil. These waters are remarkable for their discreet movement, their brightness, and their temperature. I have tried to engender in the music the movement of these waters and the sensation of fluidity establishing the games of perceptual priority linked to the feeling of luminosity, and determining the poetic framework derived from the feeling of warmth and from affects such as sensuality, drowsiness, and torpor.
